Government Relations Services to Protect and Promote Injury Benefit Plans

Advocom Group served as government relations strategic advisor for the association of employers providing Texas injury benefit plans as alternatives to traditional workers’ compensation. The multi-year assignment successfully carried out the mission of the association which was to protect and promote Texas injury benefit plans. Activities included highlighting better outcomes achieved for injured employees compared to traditional workers’ compensation and promoting the industry’s voluntary QCARE standards before the Texas legislature, state elected officials, and allied state trade and public policy groups. Advocom Group advised the association’s executive committee, plus government relations and communication committees, and led the effort to educate federal elected leaders and federal agencies, state and federal public policy leaders and national policy organizations on the advantages of injury benefit plans.
